Social Characteristics Table
  • Adult Civilian Population: the percent of the entire population that is adult and non-active military
  • Disabled Population: percent of the population with physical, mental or other handicap 
  • Single Female Household: The percent of all households that have a single female householder with no spouse present.
  • Single Male Household: The percent of all households that have a single male householder with no spouse present.
  • Foreign-Born Population: The percent of the population that was born outside of the United states of America.
  • Veterans:The percent of the population who served in active military, naval, or air service, and who was discharged under conditions other than dishonorable
  • Civilian Noninstitutionalized Population: The number of noninstitutionalized, non-active duty individuals over the age of 16 
  • Cohabiting-Couple Households: the number of households that have two unmarried householders. Can be intimate relationships or roommates.
  •  Households: the total number of households.
  • Married-Couple Family Households: The number of households that have a married couple as their householder.
  • People Living in Non-English-Speaking Households: Households where a language other than English is the primary language.
  • Total Population: The entire population.
  • Avg. Family Size: The average number of people in a family
  • Avg. Household Size: the average number of people residing in one household together.
